We support people with a wide range of needs, including a cut‑to‑fit stoma product customisation service, ensuring care is tailored to each individual.

Summary of the role

The Care Centre Operative supports the effective daily operations of the Care Centre by
ensuring accurate order processing, maintaining inventory, and contributing to a safe,
efficient, and customer‑focused environment. The role requires strong organisational skills,
attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high‑quality service to internal and
external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
• Deliver high‑quality customer service through clear, professional communication.
• Contribute to a well‑organised, safe, and positive working environment.
• Pick, check, pack, and dispatch customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish shelves, and manage inventory‑related tasks.
• Receive, verify, and record deliveries.
• Participate in quarterly stock checks and stock control activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the Care Centre.
• Collaborate effectively with Customer Service and other internal teams.
• Support achievement of Care Centre KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform duties independently when required, including lone‑working situations.
• Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned by leadership.
• Hand cutting of personalised pouches

Essential Functions of the Role
• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
• Maintaining inventory records, stock accuracy, and supply availability.
• Upholding safety, cleanliness, and operational standards within the Care Centre.
• Communicating effectively with colleagues and departments to resolve issues.
• Operating independently when required and demonstrating sound judgement.
• Supporting operational performance targets and continuous improvement.

Education and Work Requirements
• No formal education requirements specified.
• Ability to use computer systems and basic technology tools.
• Strong communication, organisation, and time‑management skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Education and Work Preferences
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order‑processing environment is
desirable but not required.
• Experience working in a customer‑focused, service‑driven organisation is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting.
