Role Summary

The Lead Financial Analyst’s key responsibilities are to build, enhance and maintain Fittleworth’s sales and gross margin financial models to feed into planning processes and monthly reporting and business partner review cycles. This role requires a 4 day onsite presence at the Winnersh office

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly consolidation, reporting and analysis of UK sales and margin results ensuring accuracy, completion and understanding of key drivers
  • Provide Fittleworth Commercial Leadership Team with tracking vs budget and business partnering through monthly performance reviews
  • Report and analyse monthly new patient referrals
  • To support planning processes which include the Annual Operating Plan, Projection and Rolling Forecast providing consolidation, analysis and reports for sales and gross margin as appropriate and in accordance with issued guidelines and assumptions to ensure timely submissions as per timetables.
  • Work closely with the Business Analyst to identify areas of automation
  • Analyse competitor financial statements, market data and industry practices to inform modelling and business decision making.
  • Support with month-end close where necessary
  • To provide ad-hoc reviews / reports and participate in specific finance projects as or any other ad-hoc tasks as requested

Experience

  • Number of Overall Years Necessary within a finance role: 5-8
  • An experienced analyst with financial forecasting / modelling experience
  • Proven knowledge / experience of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Commercial experience / exposure to non-financial environments
  • Knowledge of computing / planning systems; Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, SAP/EDW, Power BI and BPC planning & reporting applications would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft applications particularly Excel and Power point: capable of advanced excel modelling. Knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage
  • Degree level or equivalent education
    Part Qualified/Qualified Accountant Preferred (CIMA/ACCA)
    Fluent in English (written and verbal)
