Role Summary
As the Microsoft Dynamics CE Technical Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and support of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of Dynamics CE systems, ensuring efficient delivery of robust, scalable solutions that drive business transformation. Alongside your technical leadership, you will mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of Dynamics 365 CE solutions—from design to deployment and support
- Ensure smooth system performance through regular maintenance, upgrades, and issue resolution
- Customise and extend CE using Power Platform tools and integration frameworks
- Manage solution packaging, code, and data release across environments
- Deliver high-quality solutions on time, with regular reviews and quality checks
- Collaborate with Architects, Developers, and stakeholders to design and deliver technical solutions
- Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams
- Support project planning and work with vendors where needed
- Solve complex technical problems with scalable, business-aligned solutions
- Champion best practices and share knowledge across the team
Technical Expertise
- 5+ years’ experience implementing, customizing, configuring, deploying, and managing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE modules and functionalities, including Customer Service.
- Experience with Power Platform tools: Power Apps (Portals, Model-driven, Canvas), Dataverse, and Power Automate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), including Azure DevOps.
- Skilled in customization and extension of Dynamics CE, including web technologies (HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, JavaScript).
- Experience with reporting methods including FetchXML and custom reports.
- Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, including WCF and Web API.
- Proficient in C#, AL, Object-Oriented Programming concepts, and Visual Studio.
- Experience integrating Dynamics CE with Dynamics 365 F&SCM via Microsoft Dual Write.
- Proven experience working with Azure services and cloud-based integration components.
- BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Relevant Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 CE, Azure, Security, Integration, or related areas.
