Deputising and supporting the Warehouse Supervisor:
- Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with staff resource planning and allocation
- Completing return to work interviews in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor
- Completing 1-2-1s in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Complete daily staff briefings to update and feedback in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor
- Assisting in the training and development of staff by providing on the job hands on training
- Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork to ensure KPI’s are met or exceeded
- Training and development, supporting the Warehouse Supervisor in the delivery of training and development within the team
- Updating the Warehouse Supervisor of any performance issues within the team
- Ensuring all end of day processes are completed
- Accurate storage and maintenance of NDC inventory.
- Investigating stock discrepancies.
- Communicating with external departments / suppliers.
- Completion of all documentation / administration as required
- Maintaining goods inwards quality logs; recording any errors or near misses
- Assisting with the organisation of the daily workload.
- Responding to and dealing with warehouse communication by email and telephone as required
- Organising additional resource and monitoring overtime spends.
- Inventory Op and Admin coverage where required.
Compliance:
- Working in accordance with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and working instructions
- Adhering to all company Health and Safety Procedures
- Daily housekeeping of all warehouse areas to ensure working areas are kept neat, tidy and clean
- Ensure that all services are provided in accordance with current legislation / NHS guidelines and Company process and policy.
- Continually look for, and suggest, ways we can improve the service we provide to Health Care professionals and our mutual clients.
Other:
- Allocation of staff to internal department where necessary
- Communicating with internal departments, suppliers, and third party couriers
- Unloading Trailers
- Attending training as required
- Overtime as requested

Qualifications and Training:
- FLT Flexi/Pivot steet qualified (desirable)
Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure against strict timelines
- Warehouse experience
- A high level of flexibility
