We are presently recruiting for a part time ( 30 hours per week ) Team Leader at our new location in Felpham, near Bognor Regis. 

The Team Leader is responsible for working alongside the Registered Manager to manage and develop our new location,  Jasmine Lodge, situated near Felpham. This new location offers beautiful independent living accommodation for 11 adults with autism and/or learning difficulties.  You will support the project giving the people supported the opportunity to safely live the lives they choose, while developing their own independence.

You will be responsible for overseeing and working as a team,  with staff, the people we support, and other agencies to ensure that the emotional, medical and material needs of the people we support are recognised, assessed and met and to enable each person to achieve their full potential.

This exciting role offers a minimum of 15 hours per week supporting people at Jasmine Lodge to live their lives. The post is designed to offer flexibility at short notice – which means that the post holder may be asked to provide support /cover within their administration time and work every other weekend and sleep in shifts. You will work along with the Jasmine Lodge Registered Manager to provide on call cover at times when there is a need to support the sleep-in person in an emergency.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To support  the Manager and assist with team management and the administration of the services, e.g. organise rotas, maintain staff sickness and holiday records, petty cash, etc.
  • Ensuring people with learning disabilities understand their rights and responsibilities and are supported to undertake an active role in making decisions about their support.
  • To meet the requirements of regulatory authorities to ensure the project maintains its status as a supported living and domiciliary agency via:
    • the statement of purpose is achieved
    • policies and procedures are implemented
    • each tenant has a written contract/statement of terms and conditions and that the terms of the contract/statement are fulfilled
    • each tenant has a written tenancy agreement and that the terms of the agreement are fulfilled
  • Ensure best practice in comprehensive support planning and ensuring plans are kept up to date.
