Gardener - Campus & Ornamental

Are you a passionate horticulturist with an eye for detail and a love for exceptional landscapes? West Dean are seeking a talented and accomplished Campus & Ornamental Gardener to join the team and assist with the day-to-day care and maintenance of the breath taking West Dean Gardens.

To be successful in this role, you will need to a collaborative team player, be able to work independently, whilst displaying excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise a wide and varied workload. 

In this exciting role, you will play a key part in the day-to-day care, presentation, and enhancement of our stunning ornamental and campus gardens, helping us maintain the remarkable standards our visitors know and love. You will need to have experience of working with a range of garden equipment (including tractors), experience of managing and working with turf, meadows and hedges and be experience and competent in with a diverse range of plants, pruning, mulching, working with climbers at height.

You will need an RHS Level 2 or equivalent, and to have a PA1 and PA6 qualification.
