We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to a talented and skilled IT infrastructure specialist. The successful candidate will be deploying and maintaining industry leading storage, server, and cloud-based technologies, whilst also working on projects to develop the University’s IT infrastructure.

The post holder will work closely with the IT Operations Technical Lead, as well as the Service Development Manager, Service Delivery Manager and other colleagues across the IT Team.

The University has a centralised, IT Team comprising of talented individuals across the IT professions. There is frequent cross-functional collaboration with IT professionals in Technology Enhanced Learning, Service Development, Corporate Systems and IT Operations.

Whilst able to work independently, you will also be encouraged to work collaboratively with IT colleagues, enabling and participating in the development of relevant initiatives to ensure effective, secure and reliable development and delivery of new and changed services.

Working styles are flexible, supported by excellent, secure collaboration tools that enable the team to use facilities on the Bognor and Chichester Campuses.

Previous experience of Higher Education is not essential; however, you should be able to demonstrate your capability of working in a complex network environment within a similarly sized organisation.
