An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Sociology to join our diverse team of academics who are all passionate about their specialisms and dedicated to providing an outstanding student experience. Candidates for the position should have a strong track record of innovative and inspiring teaching in Sociology . Similarly, we would welcome candidates with a research profile which complements current activity in the Institute of Education Health and Social Sciences, evidenced by successful research activity including publications in peer-reviewed journals and potential for securing external research funding.
Working with the academic staff team and students you will among other activities, make a key contribution to new and existing undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.
A strength of our Institute is the interdisciplinary focus we bring to teaching and research. Consequently, we would welcome interest from candidates with additional expertise in one or more of the following: Criminology, Social Policy, Children, Young People and Families.
