Are you a driven sales professional with a talent for lead generation and a passion for building strong client relationships?

If you’re ready for your next opportunity, we’ve got great news. To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a Sales Development Executive to join our team.

This is a transitional role designed for growth. You will start by focusing on Sales Development (SDR) activities, with the opportunity to transition into an Account Executive role by retaining and managing the accounts you successfully onboard.

The base salary for this role is £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience). With uncapped commission, demo booking bonuses, activity incentives, the realistic on‑target earnings (OTE) is £40,000 - £45,000 per annum.

A bit about the role:

Within this role, you’ll represent our Direct2Desk managed service - a cutting‑edge, zero‑touch device lifecycle management platform designed for organisations with modern, remote workforces. You'll take on a variety of impactful sales development activities, including:

  • Generating and qualifying new Direct2Desk business opportunities via calls, emails, and LinkedIn (the majority of which will be cold outreach).
  • Engaging key decision‑makers to understand their challenges and present solutions aligned to their needs.
  • Nurturing leads through to booked demonstrations, conducting demos yourself, and converting them into Direct2Desk sales.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure solutions are sold accurately and logged using the CRM system (HubSpot).
  • Consistently hitting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales and demo‑booking targets and activity KPIs.
  • Take full ownership of account development, enabling you to master the end-to-end sales cycle and evolve into an Account Executive lead.

What we need from you:

You’ll have at least one year’s experience in B2B or B2C sales and be comfortable working towards clear, measurable targets. Experience in the tech or IT sector is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided on our Direct2Desk service.

You’ll have proven experience in a proactive, outbound sales role, with a strong focus on cold outreach via phone, LinkedIn and targeted email campaigns. Confident generating your own opportunities, you’ll be skilled at building relationships from first contact and delivering effective product demonstrations to prospective customers.

Knowledge of using CRM’s (like HubSpot) is useful but not essential as training will be given, you’ll be using this to manage pipelines, track activity and maintain accurate records day to day.

You’ll bring excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with strong negotiation ability and the confidence to present solutions clearly and persuasively. You’ll also be highly organised, with the time‑management skills to manage your own workload in a fast‑paced environment.

In being resilient, adaptable and driven sales professional, you’ll have a positive, confident mindset and the ability to make a strong first impression while building long‑term customer relationships that deliver real value.
