Due to career progression for a member of our repairs team, we're looking for a new Repairs Technician who has a genuine love for getting hands-on with fault-finding, tech-fixing, and supporting customers when they need us most.
A bit about the role:
Our Repairs department is one of the key teams at the heart of our customer support. Whether you're working on a PC, laptop, mobile phone or an Apple device, you'll be delivering a top-tier repairs service when our customers need you most. You'll be part of a team that’s passionate about technology and dedicated to providing a first-class experience every time.
No two days will be the same! One moment you could be diagnosing a fault for a retail customer, and the next, handling a critical device return for a business client. You'll also support our Direct 2 Desk service and help ensure all returned IT equipment is logged and processed accurately and efficiently.
Due to the nature of the work carried out by our Repairs team, you'll need to work on-site every day.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll ideally have some experience in IT repairs, technical support, or a similar role. You’ll also need a strong interest in PCs, good knowledge of computer hardware, and a keen eye for the latest tech trends.
Problem-solving is a key part of the role, so you should enjoy investigating issues and finding solutions. A methodical, detailed and process-driven approach is essential, especially as you'll be handling customer equipment on a daily basis.
Clear and confident communication, both written and verbal, is essential to support strong teamwork across the business and deliver excellent customer interactions.
