We have a great opportunity for someone to support our accounts team with key accounting tasks, to ensure the smooth running of the department.
A bit about the role:
This is a really varied role to keep the perfect candidate on their toes! Some of the key duties include:
- Validating purchase ledger invoices, posting them into company accounts system.
- Coding purchase ledger transactions, dealing with additional accounting treatment required.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal colleagues to resolve queries professionally and efficiently.
- Approving and reviewing external affiliate transactions.
- Managing the import process of purchase ledger transactions into the relevant software.
- Providing additional support to accounts payable and accounts receivable, as required. Including managing supplier payments, posting and reconciliation of cashbook transactions and provide accounts payable performance reporting.
What we need from the right person:
We’re after a well-rounded Accounts Assistant with excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
You’ll be comfortable working with numbers and sensitive data, and you’ll have a sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in analysing information.
Our accounts team is passionate, collaborative, and well-respected across the business. We’re looking for someone who shares that passion and brings strong communication and interpersonal skills to the table.
Previous experience in an accounts department is essential, along with familiarity with accounting systems and terminology.
