MotorSport Vision are currently looking for a new Assistant Circuit Manager at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire. This prestigious position provides an exciting opportunity to work with our Circuit Manager to assist in overseeing the operational day to day running of one of the UK’s most prestigious motorsport venues.
The Assistant Circuit Manager role at Cadwell Park is a hands-on, operational position supporting the effective management of the circuit. Working closely with the Circuit Manager, you will help oversee event delivery, marshal coordination, site maintenance, and health and safety procedures. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and leadership skills, a passion for motorsport, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment. You will play a key part in ensuring Cadwell Park continues to run safely, efficiently, and to the high standards expected within the Motorsport Vision (MSV) group.
Duties of an Assistant Circuit Manager
- Work with the Circuit Manager to help run events smoothly and efficiently at Cadwell Park.
- Assist in planning events, following company policies and staying within budget. Manage staffing for Marshals, Admission Control, Security, Car Parking, and Grandstands, keeping within budget.
- Act as line manager for Marshals, providing leadership and support.
- Organise and oversee Marshal training.
- Oversee Marshal rotas, ensuring shifts are fully staffed and within budget
- Approve payroll, checking for accuracy to avoid pay issues.
- Oversee on-site health and safety, making sure all rules and standards are followed.
- Oversee Cadwell Parks fleet of onsite vehicles from safety cars to plant machinery
- Complete incident reports (IRFs) and keep accurate records of any incidents.
- Carry out regular site checks to maintain safety and operational standards.
- Complete financial event returns alongside the Circuit Manager
- Help plan and run track events, including major events like British Superbikes and Modified Live.
- Take part in the duty manager rota to ensure senior cover when the venue is in use.
- Maintain high standards for venue appearance and work to improve it continuously.
Requirements of an Assistant Circuit Manager
- Proven experience in supporting the delivery of live events, preferably motorsport or large public events, although not essential
- Experience managing or supervising staff across multiple teams
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to event and race circuit environments
- Ability to work within staffing and operational budgets
- Clear and confident communicator at all levels – with staff, senior management, and external partners
- Full, Clean driving licence is essential both for access to the site and for the required duties in the role
- Meticulous attention to detail

Due to the nature of the Assistant Circuit Manager position at Cadwell Park, there will be a requirement to commit to both weekend and evening work throughout the race season (March – November). Any days worked over your 42.5 hour contracted hours, will be given back as a day in lieu. Due to the requirements of this role, a full driving licence is essential to be considered.
