Mechanic

A great opportunity has arisen for a versatile and hardworking Mechanic to join the Engineering team at Brands Hatch. This role will involve working within a small team, assisting with maintenance our fleet of BMW M4's, single seater race cars, 4x4's and Toyota GT86s as well as a whole host of site maintenance vehicles, to ensure we deliver market leading retail and corporate motor racing events. 

Jobs duties will include:

• Conducting thorough inspections and maintenance of our high-performance vehicles used for our corporate and retail events
• Ensuring that all vehicles are maintained to the correct specification
• Working with our Engineering team to determine the source of machinery problems and work to solve issues efficiently
• Working as part of our wider Engineering team to complete large scale rebuilds
• Ensuring that any paperwork is processed in accordance with the correct procedures
• Cleaning of vehicles inside and out so they are presented back for use in pristine condition after any work on them is complete
• Ensuring the workshop is clean and properly maintained at all times
• Being aware of, and ensuring compliance with, all relevant Health and Safety acts and guidance

You will have:

• A good understanding of mechanical engineering with a recognised qualification i.e. City and Guilds
• Confidence and ability to identify what work needs doing, and to complete it with the minimum of direction
• Full UK driving licence
• Pride in your work and want to complete tasks to the best of your ability
• A track record of meeting strict deadlines
• Willingness to work weekends as part of a rota
