We are seeking an enthusiastic, practical and forward-thinking individual to join the Aldingbourne Country Centre Maintenance Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on maintenance activities with project delivery, site improvements and estate development.

Working across our 26-acre visitor attraction and vocational training site, you will help maintain our buildings, grounds and facilities whilst also supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of improvement projects that enhance the experience of the people we support, visitors, staff and volunteers.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work closely with the Maintenance Team, Farm Team, Events Team and wider operational departments to ensure the site remains safe, compliant, attractive and fit for purpose.

The role will involve a mixture of:

  • General building and site maintenance
  • Planned and reactive repairs
  • Grounds and estate maintenance
  • Contractor coordination and supervision
  • Project planning and delivery
  • Site improvement initiatives
  • Health and safety compliance activities
  • Supporting future development projects across the Country Centre

You will be encouraged to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and play an active role in shaping the future development of the site.

This is the perfect role for someone that has experience working within construction, engineering, maintenance, facilities management or project environments, has CAD, design or project management experience and an understanding of CDM Regulations.
