The Aldingbourne Trust is looking for a positive, creative Support Worker to inspire and support adults with learning disabilities at the Aldingbourne Country Centre.

In this varied, rewarding role, you’ll help people build confidence, learn new skills and enjoy greater independence across our social enterprises—gardening, horticulture, craft, woodwork, catering, performing arts and more.

⭐ What You’ll Do
  • Support people to grow their skills, confidence and independence
  • Deliver engaging, person‑centred activities
  • Help run our on‑site enterprises
  • Promote inclusion, communication and wellbeing
  • Keep accurate records and update support plans
  • Work as part of a strong, supportive team
  • Provide personal care when needed
⭐ What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • A positive, reliable team player
  • Great communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Organised, proactive and self‑motivated
  • Own transport

Desirable:

  • Experience in support work or learning disabilities
  • Skills in craft, gardening, woodwork, catering or performing arts
  • Knowledge of Makaton/BSL
  • IT skills and basic admin
  • D1 licence or experience transporting people
