General Purpose:

This post requires a proactive, flexible approach when providing general, financial & administrative assistance to support the effective and efficient running of the project(s). This will include actively making continuous improvements by identifying and providing efficient systems for the Aldingbourne Trust to make mindful purchasing decisions.

 

Main Duties

  • To work with the Project Management and staff teams to maintain financial information for the Sudley Road and Queens Square services and its clients.  
  • Ensure all local expenditure is accurately recorded, recharged, collected and banked in accordance with company practice and guidelines.
  • To oversee the use of company vehicles by our clients, collate and recharge the mileage as appropriate.
  • To produce spending reports for the Registered Manager for budget evaluation.
  • To work closely with the Central Office Finance Team in the reconciliation of local expenditure, payments and charging.
  • To facilitate the purchase of items for the Sudley Road and Queens Square Projects.
  • To liaise with the West Sussex Financial Adult Safeguarding Team for purchasing authority on behalf of the clients they support.
  • To work closely with clients’ families on matters relating to finances and benefits.
  • To monitor client benefit income and savings levels. To report excesses in savings to the relevant government body.
  • To support our clients, and support staff with the management of the Universal Credit accounts.
