We are presently recruiting for a new Team Member for our highly successful Wood Recycling project, based a The Aldingbourne Country Centre, near Fontwell. This is a popular Visitor Attraction located on the edge of the South Downs National Park offers a great day out for families to play, a state-of-the-art conference centre for people to meet and a welcoming café where everyone can eat. 

The Aldingbourne Trust works with adults with learning disabilities and this role will involve working with and supporting the people we support. The Wood Recycling Project is responsible for sourcing supplies of wood from businesses and the local community, as well as promoting the project to supplier and customer base. 

A knowledge of wood is not essential as training will be provided. The Centre sells recycled timber to the public and trade and we are keen to expand this operation. In addition to wood collections, the role involves making sure the wood yard is in good order and occasionally assisting with sales.

A major aspect of the role involves driving a 3.5 tonne van (normal car license sufficient) - making collections and deliveries of wood around the local area with occasional longer journeys.

· Annual leave: 25 days in each year, pro rata for part time staff. 1 extra day per annum after 5 years of service, up to a maximum of 5 extra days after 10 years.

· Sick leave: After the first month’s service, 2 weeks at full pay in a rolling 12-month period (pro rata if Part Time)

· Emergency family care/ career’s leave: Up to 6 days per annum (pro rata if Part Time)
