Dance We are looking for an experienced and dedicated specialist in dance who will contribute and join our team to enhance the current provision. You will have a significant professional profile with practice and performance experience. Expertise in contemporary dance technique, rehearsal direction, choreography and/or company management and networking skills are essential for this role. You need to have experience of teaching within a higher education setting and be familiar with the planning, delivery and assessment of module content that is both practical and theoretical. In addition to contributing to practical modules such as Dance Technique, Choreography or other creative modules, you will contribute and supervisor dissertation students and this requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Touring with mapdance (weekend and evening working hours are a part of this role) and rehearsal directions with Hive Dance Collective requires independence and maturity to support the companies and take responsibility for rehearsing and overseeing workshops, liaising and networking with venues, whilst working closely with the Artistic Director. You will be qualified to Masters level and hold a recognised teaching qualification and/or be willing to undertake the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education. You will demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills and have the proven ability to engage and enthuse students. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
