Institute of Education, Social and Life Sciences Hourly paid up to 43.68 per hour. Fixed-term contract for the academic year 22/23 (36 hours) We wish to appoint an Associate Lecturer with expertise in Environmental Education to teach on our BA (Hons) Education programme. As an Associate Lecturer you will work as part of a team providing a high-quality learning experience for undergraduate students. You will build on your experience and expertise in Environmental Education to provide high quality teaching and assessment. You will deliver high quality, effective and interactive teaching using a range of methods including face to face, blended and remote delivery. The module you will teach will introduce undergraduate BA (Hons) Education students to the role that education might play in the face of serious environmental challenges. It will consider different perspectives on the environment and the changing nature of ecological awareness. It will discuss how this might be most effectively presented in educational settings. Candidates should have appropriate qualifications and extensive relevant experience. It is essential you have a broad knowledge, experience and skills in environmental education together with the energy, enthusiasm, organisational skills and flexibility which will contribute to enhancing the student experience. Successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities. Experience of teaching and assessing at undergraduate level will be an advantage.
