University of Chichester Conservatoire Acting for Film Part time fixed-term commencing October 2022 Hourly paid up to 36.98 per hour Up to a maximum of 136 hours over the academic year An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Dance Specialist to join our vibrant Acting for Film team in the University of Chichester Conservatoire. This position will be contributing to the University’s undergraduate degree routes. The programmes adopt a student centric approach to learning and teaching and successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities and will be willing to use a range of methods including face to face, blended and remote delivery. Candidates should have an appropriate teaching /or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, with extensive recent relevant teaching / practical experience of period and social dance. It is anticipated that all staff will be engaged with the development of best practice in dance performance and its assessment, as well as in current developments in pedagogy. Knowledge and experience of academic frameworks in conjunction with an analytical approach to screen acting study will also be required.
