Based: East Midlands, preferably Lincolnshire area
Working hours: 18 hours/week

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate qualified Supervising Social Worker to join our experienced and successful team, someone who is reflective and creative in practice.  Working together with all stakeholders you will strive to ensure that our Foster Carers, children and young people in our care reach their full potential.  

 ABOUT THE CHILDREN'S FAMILY TRUST (CFT)

Celebrating our 80th anniversary this year, we are a well-established Registered Charity and an Independent Fostering Agency providing a varied range of foster placements.    We firmly believe our Foster Carers are our most valuable resource, deserving the highest levels of support and remuneration we can offer. We work in partnership with Local Authority Social Workers and are committed to keeping our children safe and secure in stable and loving families.

 THE ROLE

Our staff are an integral part of our success and we are seeking to recruit a permanent part time Supervising Social Worker.  You will recruit, assess, and support our foster carers as well as make placements in response to referrals from Local Authorities. Our planed caseload management system ensures that we achieve excellent outcomes for our children and maintain a high-quality service.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker with at least 2 years’ experience, who can work flexibly as part of a busy team and wants the opportunity to provide a quality service to our children, young people and foster carers.  We currently have 5 Regional offices with the East Midlands continuing to develop and grow, this is an great time to be part of our journey. 

The successful post holder will be expected to travel across the region when needed to complete role duties.
