Warehouse Operative (Temporary)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our busy operations team during a peak period. The role is primarily focused on receiving deliveries, organising stock and maintaining an efficient warehouse. You will also provide support across other areas of our fulfilment operation as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Inspect products and report any damages, shortages or discrepancies.
• Put stock away into the correct warehouse locations, ensuring products are stored safely and efficiently.
• Maintain an organised warehouse, ensuring stock is easy to locate and accessible.
• Carry out routine stock checks and support inventory accuracy.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure the warehouse remains clean and safe.
• Support other areas of the fulfilment operation when required, including order picking, packing, freezer picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

About You

• We're looking for someone who:
• Ideally Has previous warehouse or goods-in experience.
• Is organised, reliable and enjoys working in a busy environment.
• Has good attention to detail and works accurately.
• Is comfortable carrying out the physical demands of a warehouse role, including regular manual handling, lifting, bending and being on their feet for extended periods
• Can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Is flexible and willing to support different areas of the warehouse and fulfilment operation as business needs require.
