Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Goodwood are excited to expand their Aircraft maintenance experience into the historic Blackbushe Airport.

We are looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join Jason and our Aircraft Engineering team.

In this vital role you'll provide an exceptional service to all our customers, providing comprehensive routine maintenance, modification and repairs to aircraft engines and airframe systems for flight training aircraft and private aircraft owners.

In particular you'll require EASA B1 type certification, including experience of scheduled servicing and repairing of GA single and twin piston engine aircraft types such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft etc. Naturally you'll work in accordance with standards laid down under EASA PART 145, BCAR and Company Procedures at all times.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with good people skills and the ability to work well within a small team as well as the confidence to work without supervision.

What you'll have:

• Experience in the certification and maintenance of piston engine aircraft types and associated airframes and engine systems
• Relevant qualification or training in aviation maintenance
• EASA Part 66 B1.2 or B3 Metal Structures & Piston Engine Group rating
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills for use of electronic maintenance data
• Ability to deal with a varied and busy workload
• Use of your own aviation toolbox
• Reliable, with a passion to succeed
