SEO Editor

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced SEO Editor to join the Goodwood Road and Racing (GRR) digital team, who spend their working days sharing our 'gospel of motorsport' with the world, showcasing the uniqueness of motorsport and lifestyle at Goodwood.

In this exciting new role you’ll be responsible for supporting the business in driving the growth of organic search traffic to the GRR editorial website. You’ll achieve this through a combination of keyword research to help shape the content plan and refining the site structure as well as writing and optimising new content.

Your strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking are key and you’ll need to ensure you are up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement. Proven hands on experience of SEO are essential as are sharp writing and strong editing skills, and of course you must share our love for motoring and/or motorsport.

In addition, you’ll need:

• Previous experience in an editorial environment
• Experience of building websites or using web CMS
• Understanding of all aspects of technical SEO including website architecture, best practices and crawlability
• A solid understanding of schema mark-up, link clean-up / disavowal, SEO audits, rich text, canonicalization theory
• Solid working knowledge of analytic tools e.g. Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Webmaster tools
