Insurance Sales Agent – no cold calling

Join our non-advised sales team at Direct Life, a leading life insurance broker based in the centre of Chichester. More and more customers are choosing to buy life insurance via the Internet and over the phone, so we’re looking for hard working, enthusiastic, reliable and confident individuals to join our helpdesk.

Your role would involve completing applications by following scripts to discuss a client’s needs, explaining products, running various quotes and collecting medical and lifestyle information.

Our office is based in the centre of Chichester. However, due to the current pandemic, you will be required to work from home until such time it is appropriate to return to the office. This means the successful applicant must have good broadband and home working space.

Full time - 37.5 hours per week. The preferred working pattern is:

Week 1

Mon to Thurs 9.30am – 7pm and Fri 9.30am – 1pm

Week 2

Mon to Thurs 10.30am – 8pm and Fri 9.30am – 1pm

However, some variation on this working pattern would be considered.

We are looking for the following experience and skills:

  • Previous experience in the financial services is desirable, although not essential
  • Proven experience in a sales/customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding negotiating skills, with the ability to persuade and resolve issues
  • Ability to learn about the Company’s products and services, and describe and explain them.
