IT Software Engineer Apprentice

IT Services We are currently seeking an IT Software Engineer Apprentice to join our team and build high quality web and data analytics solutions designed to enhance the digital experience across the University. Working in the IT Service Development team, you will play a central role in supporting the delivery of web and data projects using a range of technologies. You will be working closely with colleagues across the different IT Services functions, and collaboratively with staff throughout the wider University. This is an active role that blends delivery with development. As a Degree Apprentice, the scope and opportunities in the role will grow alongside learning throughout the degree tuition, in-work coaching and personal study. You will work alongside talented and likeminded colleagues who possess both breadth and depth of industry experience, which they are keen to share with you. This role requires no previous working experience and it is a perfect opportunity for someone wishing to start their career in data analytics and software development for the web. This role is for an apprentice studying on the Software Engineer Degree Apprenticeship programme. As an apprentice with the University of Chichester you will spend one day per week studying as you work towards completing your apprenticeship and a BA(Hons) Software Engineer degree. This qualification takes up to four years to complete. You will need to meet the entry requirements for the degree apprenticeship and you will need any of the following: 3 A Levels C or above, Level 3 BTEC Vocational Qualifications, Level 3 Apprenticeship or relevant work experience.
