Institute of Sport, Nursing and Allied Health We are looking for a psychologist to join an enthusiastic sport and exercise psychology team at the University of Chichester for one year covering a period of extended leave. We are looking for someone with the ability to contribute to the area of exercise psychology and physical activity for health. The post holder must have teaching experience in these areas, preferably at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Evidence of any of the following will be an advantage: publications in peer-reviewed journals, consultancy delivery and development, research income generation, desire and potential to develop in these areas. Lecturers will teach as a member of the teaching team in a developing capacity within our Sport and Exercise Psychology programmes (BSc and MSc) as well as modules shared across the Institute of Sport, Nursing and Allied Health (which also houses programmes in coaching, sport and exercise science, sport business and management, and PE teaching training) with the assistance of a mentor and/or senior colleague if required. You will be expected to fully and actively engage in the range of activities that ensure high learning and teaching quality within the modules delivered and work flexibly and efficiently in discharging your responsibilities.
