We are seeking an Analyst Programmer to work as part of a team responsible for the University’s Corporate and eLearning systems (CELS) within the IT Services. The post holder will support the team on the introduction, development and maintenance of the University’s corporate systems, web services, database services and systems integrations projects. CELS predominantly supports student records, student recruitment, academic support, employee and financial information systems.

Working closely with Business owners across the University, you will contribute to the development and support of one or more key systems and developments as assigned by the Head of Corporate and eLearning Systems.

You will be customer focused, have excellent attention to detail, possess excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills, and have the ability to work effectively within and across teams.

Ideally you will have experience of developing and supporting applications within a systems team. Experience of working within Higher Education and supporting a key corporate system such as SITS, Scientia Plus, and Unit4ERP would also be a bonus.

The post-holder will also contribute to achieving the University’s strategic objectives in terms of maintaining integrity of data, providing a good customer service to students and staff and the delivery of timely and robust management information as required.
