University of Chichester Students' Union - Shop Floor Supervisor

The University of Chichester Students'' Union has a vacancy within the Students'' Union shop located at our beautiful Chichester campus. This position supports the wider management team with the day-to-day operations within the Students’ Union Shop. You will maintain the high standards of service and financial control within UCSU policies and procedures and other relevant requirements. An active role will be required in the development and application of a retail service to help maximise profit and deliver excellent customer service.

Reports to: Retail Manager

Responsible for: Student Retail Assistants

Hours: Term time only - Flexible arrangements possible.

Maximum of 45 hours per week or two posts 20-25 hours per week or to suit the right candidate.

This may include occasional evening and weekends as required, exact working hours negotiable but will be on a rota with 2nd post holder and Retail Manager.

Shop Opening hours 8.30am - 4.30pm (4pm Friday)

Salary: Pay Rate equivalent: 11.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Campus base: The Shop, Chichester Campus but will required to work at any centre where Union business is conducted that is within reasonable distance of the campus base.
