Kennels and Hound Lodge Operations Manager

We are looking for a hands on Operations Manager for Hound Lodge and The Kennels Private Members Club, to help drive our ambitious plans to take the business forward.

In this key role you'll support Ellie, Kennels & Hound Lodge GM, specifically leading the Food and Beverage, Reception and Housekeeping & Laundry teams, as well as taking a lead in running the Kennels and Hound Lodge in Ellie's absence. You'll identify possible commercial leads and support with the calendar of exciting events.

As our perfect candidate, you'll have a flair for creating an amazing customer journey - paying attention to every detail, with the ability to develop strong relationships with our members, internal stakeholders and your team. You'll be a problem solver and a great communicator, whilst being a great coach for your Kennels and Hound Lodge team, developing their talent and ensuring a succession plan is in place.

You'll thrive on ensuring everything we do reflects our values, whilst maximising revenue and will therefore contribute to the commercial performance of the Kennels and Hound Lodge. This role would ideally suit either an experienced Operations Manager or someone who is looking to take their first senior management position.

What you'll need:

• Experience/knowledge of Rooms operations is preferred and a strong background in food & beverage management is essential
• A good knowledge of food, wines and spirits
• Experience in managing a team and an operation effectively
• Experience of setting and managing budgets effectively
• A can-do attitude and a passion to drive standard
