We’re thrilled to offer an incredible opportunity for an Event Intern to join the Goodwood team for a year at the heart of some of the UK’s most iconic live events.
Returning for the third year in September 2026, this unique internship gives you hands-on experience across the teams responsible for delivering our spectacular headline events, including:
- Festival of Speed
- Goodwood Revival
- Members’ Meeting
- Qatar Goodwood Festival (QGF)
- Goodwoof
Whether you’re a student, a recent graduate, or someone looking to kick-start a career in events, this role offers an unrivalled insight into world-class event delivery. We welcome applications from those studying any degree subject - what matters most is your passion for the events industry and your desire to learn.
No two days will be the same. During your first few months, you’ll rotate through several departments to build a broad understanding of how Goodwood operates. You’ll then join the team planning and delivering our newest event, Goodwoof, before moving on to the Goodwood Racecourse team. Here, you’ll play a key role across our Three Friday Night fixtures and the world-famous Qatar Goodwood Festival - affectionately known as Glorious Goodwood.
Throughout the year, you’ll gain first-hand exposure to:
- Event planning and operations
- Logistics and on-the-day delivery
- Content curation and customer experience
By the end of the internship, you’ll leave with a wealth of practical experience and a genuine understanding of how world-class events are brought to life.
Contract and hours- Fixed term: Early September 2026 to September 2027
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Extended hours and some weekend working will be required in the lead-up to and during the events
Due to the nature of event delivery, holiday will not be permitted on certain key dates (to be confirmed). Unfortunately, we are unable to progress applications from candidates who are unable to commit to this. However, limited exceptions may be made for significant life events such as graduation.
