Are you an experienced gamekeeper with a passion for conservation and country sports? We’re looking for an experienced Beat Keeper to take charge of a complex beat, support the Head Keeper in delivering world-class shoot days, and mentor the next generation of keepers.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and motivating Under Keepers and casual workers across the estate when required.
- Assisting in the planning of and delivering feeding regimes and habitat improvements with the Head Keeper.
- Assisting with the construction and upkeep of release pens and drives.
- Monitoring bird health and welfare across your beat and beyond.
- Keeping accurate records and supporting compliance reporting.
- Playing a key role in shaping the future of our shoot operations and conservation projects.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in gamekeeping, ideally managing a large beat and rearing field knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of shoot day operations and gamebird management.
- Strong communication, and organisational skills.
- Relevant countryside or wildlife management qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence, machinery certifications, and shotgun/firearms licences.
- A genuine commitment to sustainability, heritage, and excellence.
- A team of working dogs
