In this newly created position, we are looking to recruit a Marketing & Communications Manager, within the Goodwood Art Foundation, a newly established not for profit organisation focussing on the three pillars of Art, Environment and Education.
The Foundation will foster wellbeing, creativity and lifelong learning for all people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities through engagement with art and connectedness to nature. We are working with a fantastic team including Ann Gallagher, Dan Pearson and Sally Bacon - experts in the fields of art curation, landscaping and arts education respectively.
Goodwood has been heavily involved in these core areas for many years and we see the launch of the Foundation as an opportunity to further develop this legacy and the important messages associated with its values for generations to come.
This is a truly unique opportunity, to launch a leading Art Foundation, managing the planning, development and implementation of the Foundation’s marketing and communications strategy. Responsibilities will include overseeing content creation whilst ensuring that the tone and messaging reflect the Foundation’s values, developing and maintaining relationships with international media outlets, managing the content strategy budget and liaising with key stakeholders including our external communications agency, associated galleries and artists. You'll help ensure all activity is fresh, impactful, and engaging, to drive awareness and loyalty.
Along with a naturally creative mindset and passion for art, the successful candidate must have excellent copy writing skills and enjoy the art of storytelling to effectively build the brand and tone of voice of the Art Foundation.
You will possess a strong data driven approach, to optimise customer behaviour and market trends and an understanding of how to effectively co-ordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities.
Thinking outside the box, you will be creating core organic content to tap into a wide passive audience, ensuring the effective marketing of our unique stories, points of difference and values.
As an effective influencer, you will have the confidence to manage multiple stakeholder relationships, working collaboratively towards differentiating the Goodwood Art Foundation.
What you’ll have:
- Proven experience in a Marketing & Communications within the luxury sector
- Previous experience in the art world or not for profit organisations an advantage
- Digitally savvy - results driven marketing campaigns
- Understanding of marketing tactics and measurement tools to influence campaigns, aid customer attraction and retention, whilst growing revenue
- Engaging communicator
