Assistant to Theatrics & Costume Curator

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join the costume department for the Goodwood Actors Guild (GAG) which has over 400 people on the books including actors, singers, dancers, magicians and impressionists. The costume department is home to more than 12,000 items and is lovingly cared for by the Theatrics & Costumer Curator and her team. 

We are looking for an Assistant to join the team to support with the day to day maintenance of the wardrobe as well as caring and preserving the costume collection, of which many items are vintage and therefore require extra special care.

You'll also be involved in the preparation and running of performances at very large scale events with large numbers of actors. 

Although the role is initially required on a fixed-term basis, there is the potential for this to become a longer term role so would be perfect for someone looking to pursue a career in this area. If you are passionate, creative and like to get stuck in, please get in touch with us to find out more.
