Picture yourself as a Forestry & Estate Maintenance Worker joining our highly skilled team here at Goodwood Estate.
You'll be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the estate including all public and private amenity areas, roadside trees, car parks and public rights of way.
No two days will be the same, with a range of duties including tractor driving, hauling work, chain saw operation and tree planting and management. Experience in lifting and moving heavy items within manual handling guidelines would be advantageous, although training will be provided.
A willingness to turn your hand to any task and get involved in the full and wide range of different types of work is key for this role.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Proven experience in lifting and moving heavy items within manual handling guidelines
- Full chainsaw experience
- Experienced Tractor/trailer driver (Telehandler certificate desirable)
- Proven experience of keeping machinery maintained
- Good health and safety knowledge and excellent attention to detail
- Good level of physical fitness and a willingness to learn
- Full driving licence
